Skylight Shades Ordering Options

To order skylight shades or get an online price quote use the Skylight Balcony price quote form or Daylight Skylight Order Form. You will be asked to enter the shade size, color, shade type, and approximate angle of application. Information on these options is provided below. Use the "Next" button to add the shade to our shopping cart and follow directions on the forms.

Which type of Skylight Shade?
Balcony Skylight Shade - most sized but cannot be motorized.		Daylight Skylight Shade - larger sizes and may be motorized.

About Placement of Skylight shades:

Skylight shades need to be mounted inside the window frame. Usually, mounting shades flush with the wall (or ceiling) as shown in the photo above provides easier operation and a more solid installation. This positioning also usually gives plenty of room for protruding cranks. You may also order T-handles if your crank is in the way.

Windows too high to reach?

Most skylight shades are easily operated with our extension poles. The poles come in two sizes, 6 ft. and 12 ft. The 12 ft. pole extends to 18 ft. The specially designed pole end fits into the handle of the balcony shade for easy operation. To order...

About Angles:

Skylight shades are available in the greatest size range when the application is between 15 and 75 degrees. For extremely small angles (as in a flat ceiling) or vertical applications (a regular window in a straight wall) the maximum widths and lengths are less. See Chart below (chart to come)
